Cheryl Faith is a photographer based in Singapore. Drawing inspirations from various life experiences, music and inner intuitive thoughts, she is focused on the beauty of the Unseen. She sees photography as a tool to translate what is in the unseen to something tangible, and something one can keep. Besides hoping to communicate to others the beauty her eyes see, through her photographs, Cheryl also hopes to instil a sense of self-worth in the subjects she captures. She would describe her style as one that is experimental, yet relatable.
Sometimes life feels very much like a waking dream, and very often one struggles to take a side; between reality and imagination, between the things we think and things we feel, between things of the mind and things of the heart.. And thus, we find a resting place in the borderlands. Cheryl would describe her photographs as borderlands of such.
Cheryl Faith has a diploma in Business & Social Enterprise and a degree (BA Hons) in Fashion Media.
Cheryl Faith has a passion in using her craft to tell stories of North Korean millennials as well as social topics related to the subject matter. She has also worked with NGOs in a shared purpose to change the narrative that this world has on North Koreans.
