Marcus Liew's path to filmmaking was unconventional. Forced into studying engineering by circumstance, he devoured every scrap of film knowledge – technical and creative – on the side to fuel his passion for film. After graduation, Dauntlus Studios, his film production company born of his ability to create films from pre to post-production, was proof of his relentless ambition. Lacking the built-in connections of film school, he forged his own path, brick by brick. Now, trading formulas for frames, Marcus focuses on directing, wielding his well-rounded knowledge of every aspect of film production. He is a director who knows how to get what he wants. His films hope to be confessions of the heart, crafted to offer solace and comfort to those who might feel the same way too.
