Directed by Marcus Liew, "A Sorry Love Story" follows a young Singaporean couple navigating a tumultuous night together. The film examines love, jealousy, monogamy, betrayal, and freedom from a modern, South-East Asian, perspective. It explores the influence of contemporary, non-traditional, Western ideas of love on an ordinary couple, on a tiny tropical island (Singapore), thousands of miles away.
